Job summary

Robertson Electric Wholesale, part of Sonepar Canada, seeks an Accounts Payable Associate to support a 20+ AP team in a fast-paced environment across multiple offices. Reporting to the AP Finance Manager, you will manage invoices, payments, and month-end activities while upholding accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years AP experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication in English. This role offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in Canada.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in an office environment.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience in high-volume processing environments is required.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify and process invoices and expense reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders.
• Process cheque runs, EFTs and wire payments.
• Collect, verify and maintain supplier information.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries.
• Perform other accounting administrative duties as required.
