Job description

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk with 1–2 years of experience to support the finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented and eager to build a long-term career in construction finance.

Responsibilities :

• Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain organized records of all AP transactions
• Assist with weekly cheque runs and EFT payments
• Communicate with vendors regarding outstanding balances and payment status
• Support month-end close and reporting processes

Qualifications :

• 1–2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting support role
• Exposure to the construction or development sector is an asset but not required
• Proficiency with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow
