In the role of Accounts Payable Clerk (12-month contract), you will efficiently and accurately execute accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, adherence to financial policies, and fostering positive vendor relationships.

What you'll do:

  • Manage all Company credits in accounts payable.
  • Review, investigate and resolve all vendors on payment hold where balances owing exist.
  • Own and manage vendors where invoices are submitted but no vendor account exists.
  • Support payment runs as required.
  • Execute month-end tasks and reconciliations.
  • Routinely evaluate existing processes to identify efficiencies and make recommendations to senior team members.

What you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
  • Attention to detail is paramount.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Prioritization and management of multiple competing tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Operate as an owner and see issues and opportunities through to end state.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team is key.
