Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is seeking a full-time seasonal Accounting CashAudit role in Fernie. The position emphasizes Excel-driven data entry and accurate cash handling, with a focus on learning and problem solving.

The ideal candidate has prior data entry or accounting experience, strong communication, and Excel expertise. Perks include a free RCR season pass, lodging and lessons discounts, staff events, and mountain access.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit card receipts and keep the safe balanced.
• Reconcile cash outs from all departments / hotels at Fernie Alpine Resort and enter data into Excel cash sheet.
• Assist with accounts receivable as required.
• Support manager with month-end duties, balance cash sheets and issue and return floats.
• Perform other related accounting department duties as required.
• Read and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the RCR Employee Handbook.
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program.
• Understand and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs.
• To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable.

You Will:

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive wage: $19.00-20.00/hour
