Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is seeking an energetic individual to join our Accounting team. You will review and process accounts payable invoices, issue payments, and reconcile vendor statements while maintaining strong cross-department collaboration.

The role requires 1–2 years of AP experience, a related diploma, and proficiency in Excel; ACCPAC knowledge is a plus. On-site work, with a focus on accuracy and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in accounting, business, or other related area.
• 1–2 years experience in accounts payable.
• Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset.
• Self-starter with ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate ability to work both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and processing accounts payable invoices and resolving discrepancies.
• Issuing payments within company guidelines including weekly cheque runs and on-demand payments.
• Vendor communication and statement reconciliation.
• Communicate with resorts questions, variances or concerns on invoices/accounts.
• Approval for Expenditure form tracking, numbering and reporting.
• Work with and build a strong relationship with other departments to facilitate AP information exchange.
• Working with team members to ensure accurate data entry and that all deadlines are met.
• Miscellaneous bookkeeping duties.
• Processing expense reports including verification of receipts, authorization, coding and data entry.
• Vendor statement reconciliation and maintenance of vendor files.
• Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned.
• Cross training within AP and other accounting areas to assist with vacation coverage.

• Communicate with resorts questions, variances or concerns on invoices/accounts
• Approval for Expenditure form tracking, numbering and reporting
