Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. is seeking a casual security guard for our data center site in Guelph, ON. The role accommodates day or night shifts with full-time, part-time, and casual hours and requires an immediate start.

Salary is $19.14 per hour; the position welcomes candidates with a valid Security Guard License, at least 1 year of experience, and First Aid/CPR certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CCTV monitoring experience are considered assets.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods.

• Alarm monitoring experience is an asset.
• Emergency response experience is an asset.

Experience And Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License
• Minimum of 1-year of experience as a Security Guard
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CCTV monitoring experience in a control room setting considered an asset
• Experience with access card programming considered an asset
• Experience with alarm monitoring is considered an asset
• Experience in responding to emergency situations considered an asset
