Securitas Canada Limited is recruiting for a Security Guard to support clients in Milton, Ontario. The role requires open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, with a night shift schedule on weekends.

Wages start at 19.91 per hour, with shifts from Saturday to Tuesday 2300–0700, and access control duties, patrols, CCTV usage and incident reporting are part of the responsibilities. This is a permanent vacancy with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ontario Security License required.
• First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Understanding of standard security protocols and procedures.
• G class driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience monitoring CCTV and using 2-way radios.

Responsibilities

• Report to Security Shift Supervisor.
• Perform access control duties and verify badges.
• Patrol interior and exterior of the facility.
• Utilize CCTV system for monitoring.
• Follow and implement the site Emergency Response Plan.
• Prepare incident reports and keep logs.
• Monitor for Confined Space Entry permits and assist as needed.
• Perform fire watch duties when required.

We are looking for exceptional Security Guard to join ourteamat our clients based in Milton, Ontario. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment and requires full open availability, includingmornings,evenings, weekends, and holidays.

There is position for active permanent vacancy.

Position Overview:

Wages: $19.91 an hour

Shift timings: Saturday through Tuesday ( 2300–0700 )

Location: Milton, Ontario.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports operationally to the Security Shift Supervisor.

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitor badges and employee badges.

• Patrols interior and exterior of entire facility.

• Utilize CCTV system.

• Implement site Emergency Response Plan as required.

• Incident Report writing and keep daily activity log.

• Atmospheric Monitoring for Confined Space Entry Permits as required.

• Perform fire watch duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: ****

• Valid Ontario Security License.

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain.

• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures.

• G Class Drivers License is required with Clean Driver’s abstract.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Tech savvy with experience monitoring CCTV cameras and using 2-way radios.
