Securiguard Services Ltd. is seeking a reliable Security Guard for one of Canada’s largest automotive facilities. You will manage site access, maintain safety, and serve as the first contact for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This essential role requires licensure, First Aid/CPR, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License is required.
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from the site is required.

Responsibilities

• Control all incoming and outgoing traffic for the plant.
• Monitor security access, fire, and environmental systems.
• Conduct ID checks, vehicle/trailer inspections, and visitor logging.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate emergency responses.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents and emergency activities.
• Manage emergency contact lists and access logs.
• Support site investigations using Lenel and Avigilon systems.
• Perform standard Security Guard duties and assist with administrative tasks.
• Basic computer skills and radio communication.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification

Position Details

• Pay Rate: $18.50
• Pay Progression: $19.06/hour after 3 months | $19.63/hour after 12 months
• Shift Time: Days or nights, full time
