Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. is seeking security personnel for a construction site in Sherwood Park, near Edmonton. The full-time position features a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule, morning shift from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM, and a pay rate of 19.24 CAD per hour.

Successful candidates must hold a valid Security Guard License and First Aid/ CPR certification. Responsibilities include controlling access, patrolling the site, documenting logs, and delivering professional customer service while

• First Aid/ CPR certificate required.
• Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Previous security experience is an asset.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates, manage access cards, and greet/screen visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain overall site safety and security.
• Ensure all entrants are properly documented and wearing required PPE.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management to support smooth operations and client updates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Securiguard and our clients professionally.
• Accurately record and report incidents; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Pay Rate: $19.24/hour

Note:

Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test prior to deployment.

Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate

• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Previous security experience would be an asset
