Job summary

Jay's Transportation Group Ltd. is seeking a truck driver to operate a 5-ton straight truck for pickup and delivery within Prince Albert, SK and nearby areas, working in a fast, professional manner.

Must have a valid Class 5 license and be able to lift at least 40 lbs; willing to work extended hours, provide good customer service, and commit to safety policies. Training will be provided and long-term career opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and acceptable commercial drivers abstract.
• Willing to work extended hours as required.
• Good work attitude and willing to learn.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Commitment to continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5-ton straight truck and pick up/deliver freight within city and surrounding areas.
• Lift/move freight as needed and ensure proper loading.
• Perform and document pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Complete all required paperwork and logs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Truck Driver required to operate a 5-ton straight truck
• Pick-up and deliver freight within city and surrounding areas in a timely and professional manner
• Regular lifting and moving of freight when delivering
• Ensure that vehicles are loaded properly for transportation
• Fill out all necessary paperwork
• Perform and document pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Adhere to all company safety policies
