Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada is seeking Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Kemptville dealership at 400 Colonnade Dr., Kemptville, ON K0G 1J0. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Service Manager to diagnose problems and repair trucks, buses, trailers and more.

You will work in a safety-focused shop, complete service orders, document work, attend OEM/supplier training, and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S).
• Good communication skills and work attitude.
• Quality Driven.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Driver's Abstract.
• AZ/DZ License is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs to trucks, buses, trailers and other vehicles as assigned.
• Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of engines and components; document all work performed.
• Attend training to stay updated with factory bulletins and maintain a safe/clean work environment.

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Kemptville dealership located at 400 Colonnade Dr., Kemptville, ON K0G 1J0. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned
