Rush Truck Centres of Canada in Kingston is seeking licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for a full-time permanent position at our Kingston dealership.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will diagnose and repair trucks, buses, and trailers, while ensuring OHSA compliance and safety standards. SAP experience is an asset and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed 310T is required or apprentice level.
• Excellent communication and a strong work attitude are essential.
• Quality driven with a safety‑minded approach.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Criminal background check is required.
• Driver's Abstract may be requested.
• AZ/DZ license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair trucks, buses, trailers, and other vehicles.
• Follow OHSA regulations and company safety policies.
• Read job orders and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repairs of engines and components.
• Document work performed and maintain records.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines as needed.
• Inspect safety devices and secure equipment per policy.
• Attend training and stay current with factory bulletins.

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Kingstondealership. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned
