Rush Truck Centres of Canada, part of Rush Enterprises, is seeking a Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanic (Level 3) for our Kemptville dealership at 400 Colonnade Dr., Kemptville, ON. This full-time role involves diagnosing problems and repairing trucks, buses, trailers and related equipment, reporting to the Service Manager.

The position requires OHSA compliance, safe work practices, and the ability to read job orders and plan procedures.

Qualifications

• SAP experience is an asset and helpful for parts/inventory handling.

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Techniciansfor our Kemptville dealership located at 400 Colonnade Dr., Kemptville, ON K0G 1J0. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S)
• Good communication skills and work attitude
• Quality Driven
• SAP experience is an asset
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
• Criminal Record Check
• Driver's Abstract
• AZ/DZ License is an asset
