Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada, part of Rush Enterprises, is hiring a Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanic (Level 3/Technician) for our Pembroke dealership at 17 Brandon Ave. This full-time role diagnoses and repairs trucks, buses, and trailers in a climate-controlled shop, reporting to the Service Manager.

You'll follow OHSA regulations, read job orders, document work, and attend ongoing OEM training. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S).
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• AZ/DZ license is an asset.
• Criminal Record Check required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trucks, buses, and trailers in a shop.
• Ensure OHSA compliance and maintain safety policies.
• Read job orders and plan repair procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repairs of engines and components.
• Document work performed and maintain a clean work area.

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for ourPembrokedealership located at 17 Brandon Ave, Pembroke, ON K8A 6W5. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles in an air-conditioned shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned

Basic Qualifications
