Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada in Sudbury, ON, is seeking licensed or apprentice (310T/310S) mechanics for the 1035 Falconbridge Rd dealership. This full-time role reports to the Service Manager and involves diagnosing problems and repairing trucks, buses, trailers, and other vehicles.

Responsibilities include OHSA compliance, vehicle servicing, documenting work, and maintaining a safe work area. A valid driver's license and SAP experience are preferred; AZ/DZ is an asset.

Qualifications

• Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S).
• Good communication skills and work attitude.
• Quality Driven; SAP experience is an asset.
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract.
• AZ/DZ License is an asset.

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice (310T, 310S, 310J ) Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Sudbury dealership located at 1035 Falconbridge Rd, Sudbury, ON P3A 4M9. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to the vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned
