Job summary

Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited in Ashton, Ontario, is seeking a full-time 310T Licensed Mechanic to join the shop at our Ashton Facility. Shift runs Monday to Friday from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM, reporting to the Shop Supervisor.

You will perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks, diagnose issues, maintain records, and work with teammates to meet project timelines while supervising junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• 310T Mechanic license required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.

We are currently looking for a full-time 310T Licensed Mechanic to work at our Ashton Facility. Shift would be from Monday to Friday from 4:00AM to 2:00PM. This position would be reporting to our Shop Supervisor.

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $35.00 and $45.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
