Qualifications

• Red Seal 421A certification or equivalent heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• 5+ years of certified experience working on heavy-duty or off-road equipment.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Ability to complete major mechanical repairs, including component assembly and disassembly.
• Own tools required to perform the job.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and reliable transportation.

Overview:

Our well-established construction outfit is hiring a 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic in Ashton (near Ottawa), ON, to diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of off-road equipment. Ideal candidates are Red Seal certified with 5+ years’ experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $45.00 and $48.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
