Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in Ontario offers a four-month, on-site administrative internship at the Douglas Point location near Kincardine. You will support the Facility Manager, Business Coordinator, and staff, maintain filing systems, prepare reports and correspondence, and assist with records management and procurement.
Applicants must be enrolled in an Office Administration or related program (1st or 2nd year preferred) and meet security clearance requirements.

What you will be doing!
Providing general administrative support to the Facility Manager, Business Coordinator, and facility staff.
Maintaining hard-copy and electronic filing systems to ensure efficient document storage and retrieval.
Assisting staff with composing, formatting, and distributing correspondence and other documentation.
Obtaining, compiling, and analyzing information to support reporting activities.
Preparing reports and administrative documents for management and staff.
Ordering office supplies and maintaining adequate inventory levels.
Preparing requisitions and purchase orders for standard office and operational requirements.
Supporting departmental administrative processes and special projects as required.
Assisting with records management and document control activities.
Other duties as assigned by your manager.

CNL’s Douglas Point Prototype Reactor (which has now entered the dismantling phase of decommissioning ETA 2070) is located on the Bruce Power site in Bruce County on the east shore of Lake Huron in the Province of Ontario, near the municipality of Kincardine, 2.5 hours north and west of Toronto. The area has thriving lakeside downtown shops and dining options, renowned festivals and events, recreational programming, and an agricultural community, and you'll understand how enticing it is to be a part of this beautiful community.
