The role supports project controls by collecting financial and schedule data, updating scorecards, and performing variance analysis, using Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a college or University program, majoring in Business/Commerce, Office Administration, or Project Controls/Management.
  • Demonstrated expert skill in utilizing Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, is required.
  • Ability to consolidate data from several sources in order to compare against targeted outcomes.
  • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance, with a minimum requirement of 3–5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom.

All students applying for student positions at CNL must be returning to full-time studies upon completion of their work term. Exceptions will be made for students who require a work term to graduate.

Field of Study: Business/Commerce, Office Administration, or Project Controls/Management.
Year of study: 1st year or higher

What you will be doing!
  • Collecting and consolidating project financial and schedule data.

What we are looking for:

    • Enrolled in a college or University program, majoring in Business/Commerce, Office Administration, or Project Controls/Management.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Demonstrated expert skill in utilizing Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, is required.
      • Ability to identify trends using Excel data tables, pivot tables and formulae.
      • Familiarity with Excel queries, charting and/or Power BI tools is helpful.
    • Ability to consolidate data from several sources in order to compare against targeted outcomes.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility Required
    • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
Working Conditions:
  • Working schedule: Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour work week.
