A leading financial institution in Halifax is seeking an Investigations Officer. This position involves managing investigations and compensation claims while ensuring exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will possess a university degree or equivalent experience along with strong analytical and negotiation skills. Relevant banking knowledge and capability to work in a team environment are also essential. This is a full-time student co-op position focused on developing your career in Capital Markets.
Business and Client Services (BCS) is a premier partner in providing business and client services that facilitate and enable the growth of our Capital Markets Businesses. BCS is a core operational component of Capital Markets that supports the sales and trading functions of our business and supports our clients’ experience.
The Investigations Officer is a key contact for Capital Market Clients, all Correspondent Banks and RBCFG Units. The co‑op/Intern is responsible for providing exceptional customer care through the resolution of investigations and compensation claims raised as a result of settlements rising from trading, trade finance and other commercial/retail activities. Through ongoing training initiatives and continuous self‑development, the co‑op/Intern will work with an effort to operate in an efficient / effective cross‑functional team to ensure timely resolution of investigations, loss prevention and risk mitigation.
