Job summary

St. Clement's School in North Bay is seeking a permanent Core French teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to deliver core French to a diverse group of students. The successful candidate will align with the Ontario Curriculum and collaborate with staff to promote literacy and numeracy across the school.

Applicants must hold an OCT certificate and registration, possess Intermediate Qualifications and FSL Part 1, and have experience with Apple software and EDSBY for guardian communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate.
• Must hold a valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Possess Intermediate Qualifications.
• Possess FSL Part 1.
• Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents.
• Experience with Apple-based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac).
• Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students.
• Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective.
• Experience integrating technology for documentation and evaluation of student work.
• Ability to work as part of a school team and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication.
