Job summary

The Near North District School Board invites applications for a permanent Grade 7/8 French Immersion teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Required qualifications include OCT certification, OCT registration, Intermediate and French qualifications, and strong knowledge of ministry curricula. Qualifications

• Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
• Experience with Apple based software and mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
• Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
• Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
• Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work
• Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
• Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
