A leading international Independent Power Producer is seeking a Business Developer to drive growth in Brazil's Power-to-X and green hydrogen projects. They are seeking a Business Developer to drive growth in Power-to-X (PtX) and green hydrogen projects. This is a remote role, but candidates must have a strong understanding of the Brazilian market, with established networks and local expertise to identify and develop new opportunities.
Conduct market, regulatory, and economic research to identify viable PtX and green hydrogen opportunities in Brazil.
Evaluate potential projects, sites, and partners during the screening phase.
Support early-stage project risk assessment and feasibility analysis.
Develop preliminary financial forecasts and investment models to guide strategic decisions.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to assess alignment with company goals.
Leverage existing networks to gather market intelligence and insights.
Proven experience in business development for PtX, green hydrogen or related derivatives.
Good knowledge of PtX, green hydrogen, and renewable energy markets in Brazil.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders in Brazil.
Ability to evaluate opportunities and conduct early-stage project analysis.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish would be a plus)
Able to work remotely from Brazil, with occasional travel as needed.
