Your Role:

You will support US immigration cases by translating complex information into persuasive legal arguments. Collaborate with experienced attorneys, conduct research, and draft high-quality legal documents while gaining valuable experience in US immigration law and developing your international career. A video presentation and samples of persuasive writing will be requested.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate complex scientific and professional information into persuasive legal narratives: Effectively communicate clients' contributions to the US.
• Develop case strategies: Work with US attorneys and paralegals to analyze cases and develop strategies for applications like EB-1a and EB-2 NIW.
• Conduct legal research: Investigate laws, regulations, and precedents to support legal arguments and ensure compliance.
• Draft legal documents: Prepare petitions, applications, and memoranda with accuracy and clarity, adhering to standards.
• Enhance legal expertise: Deepen understanding of US immigration law and develop research, writing, and analytical skills.

Applicants should be able to articulate why they can succeed in writing legal arguments in English. No US law firm experience is required, but professional-level English communication or argument crafting experience is highly recommended. We value a passion for working with immigrants!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on writing;
• 2+ years of professional English writing experience (preferred);
• Strong research and writing skills;
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
