Job summary

BW Offshore seeks a Tender Manager in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to support business development, lead feasibility studies and FEEDs, and negotiate contracts within offshore production projects. You will coordinate multiple disciplines, manage client interfaces, and ensure timely submissions and compliant documentation.

The role requires a strong background in floating production solutions, English and Portuguese communication, and international project experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years offshore experience, including 5+ years in floating production.
• Experience in a managerial role within floating production projects.
• Experience with Petrobras tenders is required.
• International work experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Development with marketing materials and client meetings.
• Gather intelligence on prospects, clients and competitors.
• Manage feasibility studies, pre-FEEDs and FEEDs with related teams and prepare study summaries.
• Prepare plans for feasibility studies and FEEDs; ensure timely client responses.
• Assist in negotiating feasibility, pre-FEED and FEED contracts as part of the negotiation team.
• Maintain day-to-day client interface post-contract award and coordinate inputs from disciplines.
• Prepare Decision Gate materials and file documentation in systems.
• Develop and maintain standard tender documentation, templates and tools.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Support Business Development in marketing efforts and early client engagement, including preparation of presentation materials and participation in client meetings.
• Contribute to information and intelligence gathering on prospects, clients and competitors.
• Manage the execution of feasibility studies, pre-FEEDs and FEEDs together with Concept Development, Business Development and/or the Business Opportunity Team, including preparation of study and tender summaries, maintenance of the business case and scorecard, and monitoring of intelligence, competition, client and government developments.
• Together with relevant stakeholders, prepare plans for feasibility studies, pre-FEEDs and FEEDs and ensure timely responses to clients and maintain clarification registers, if applicable.
• Support Business Development in negotiating feasibility, pre-FEED and FEED contracts, and participate as a key member of the negotiation team during contract negotiations with the client.
• Following contract award, support Business Development in maintaining the day to day client interface, coordinating input from the relevant disciplines to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
• Support Business Development and/or the Business Opportunity Manager in the preparation of Decision Gate meetings, ensuring presentations and Decision Gate documentation (agenda, minutes, actions) are properly filed in the designated systems.
• Develop and maintain standard tender documentation, templates and tools, contributing to the ongoing development of the Tender Team.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in engineering or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the offshore industry, ideally including 5 years of experience with floating production solutions.
• Previous experience in a managerial position and with technical solutions in the floating production solutions project and business.
• Experience with Petrobras tenders is required
• International work experience is regarded as an advantage.
