A Vaganet procura um Coordenador Técnico para apoiar a gestão técnica da frota offshore, assegurando a execução de manutenções, inspeções e acompanhamento técnico diário. O profissional atuará como elo entre as equipes de bordo, fornecedores e a equipe em terra, contribuindo para confiabilidade, segurança e prontidão operacional.

O cargo é em tempo integral, com base no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, com modalidade híbrida.

Qualifications

• Possuir diploma em Engenharia Marinha, Engenharia Mecânica ou Engenharia Naval.
• Experiência prévia em manutenção de embarcações e gestão técnica.
• Conhecimentos sólidos de sistemas de maquinaria marinha e manutenção planejada.
• Boas habilidades organizacionais e capacidade de gerenciar prioridades.

Responsibilities

• Supervisionar visitas técnicas, inspeções e avaliações a bordo para monitorar condições.
• Atualizar documentação de manutenção, ordens de serviço e relatórios técnicos.
• Coordenar serviços de reparo, campanhas de manutenção e atuação de contractors.
• Fornecer feedback técnico para planejamento de manutenção e melhoria de confiabilidade.

operations? As a Technical Coordinator, you will work closely with vessel crews
and the onshore technical team, supporting maintenance activities, inspections,
and operational reliability. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a key role
in supporting the technical management of our offshore fleet, ensuring the
effective execution of maintenance activities, vessel inspections, and the
continuous technical follow-up of day-to-day operations. Acting as the primary
link between vessel crews, suppliers, and the shore-based technical team, you
will contribute directly to vessel reliability, safety, and operational
readiness.

In this position, you will be responsible for
conducting regular vessel visits, technical inspections, and onboard
assessments to monitor equipment condition and maintenance standards. You will
support crews in identifying and resolving technical issues, while closely
following preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure that work
is completed on time and to the expected quality standards.

The role also involves coordinating repair services,
maintenance campaigns, and contractor attendance in collaboration with vessel
personnel and external service providers. You will review maintenance records,
work orders, and technical reports to ensure accurate documentation and
compliance with company procedures, classification society requirements, flag
state regulations, and client expectations.

A key part of the position is monitoring technical
performance indicators and supporting initiatives aimed at improving fleet
reliability, availability, and overall operational efficiency. You will provide
technical feedback and recommendations that contribute to strategic maintenance
planning and fleet development, while identifying opportunities for continuous
improvement, maintenance optimization, and cost reduction.

In addition, you will assist in the preparation and
execution of dry-dockings, major overhauls, class surveys, and regulatory
inspections, ensuring that all technical activities are carried out safely,
efficiently, and in line with operational and regulatory requirements.

Requisitos e qualificações

• Hold a degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval
  Engineering, or a related technical field;
• Have previous experience in vessel maintenance, technical management,
  ship operations, or offshore support vessels;
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of marine machinery systems, propulsion
  equipment, auxiliary systems, and planned maintenance practices;
• Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Be capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic operational
  environment;
• Have good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively
  with vessel crews, suppliers, and stakeholders;
• Be willing to travel frequently and conduct onboard visits as required,
• Have professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
