Acteon seeks a Senior Buyer in Rio de Janeiro to lead strategic procurement for materials, equipment and services for oil and gas operations. You will drive supplier qualification, high‑value negotiations and effective supplier management to support project goals.

The role requires a minimum of 6 years in a similar position, advanced English, and strong Excel skills, with proven experience serving Petrobras and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience providing customer service/support to Petrobras.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate procurement of spare parts, components, consumables and services to meet project demands.
• Develop and qualify new suppliers.
• Issue NDAs and internal documents for critical suppliers.
• Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in the Business Central system.
• Manage and respond to purchase requisitions generated by projects.
• Negotiate pricing agreements and small contracts for recurring materials and services.
• Procure facilities-related services and supplies.

UTEC is looking to add a qualified Senior Buyer to the team. The Senior Buyer will lead strategic and complex procurement processes for materials, equipment, and services essential to operations, ensuring quality, competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the company’s operational and financial objectives through effective supplier management and high-value negotiations.

The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

Duties

• Negotiate the purchase of items such as spare parts, components, consumables, and services to meet project demands, in accordance with company procedures
• Develop and qualify new suppliers
• Issue NDAs and other internal documents for critical suppliers
• Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in the Business Central system
• Manage and respond to purchase requisitions generated by projects
• Negotiate pricing agreements and small contracts for recurring materials and services
• Procure facilities‑related services and supplies
