The Production Supervisor will support BW Energy’s production operations on Brazilian offshore assets. This position is responsible for supervising daily production activities, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all process plant systems, and coordinating interfaces between operations, maintenance, logistics, and subsurface teams. The role also includes maintaining operational documentation, reporting performance, and ensuring compliance with Company and Client procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRO, Production Operators and Laboratory Technician, ensuring clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
• Manage daily operation of the production plant, ensuring safe operation in accordance with BW/Client procedures.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation in AMOS and other operational systems.
• Maintain clear production history of each well and equipment;
• Identify and report deficiencies, malfunctions, and non-conformities; propose corrective and improvement actions.
• Prepare the plant for intrusive maintenance and ensure proper coordination with Maintenance and other departments.
• Understand and apply Isolation Standards (LOTO) and contribute to risk assessments.
• Manage and maintain operational documentation, including procedures and technical records.
• Act as Permit to Work (PTW) system coordinator when appointed by the OIM.
• Administer and monitor COSHH on the FPSO;
• Interpret logged operational data and support decision-making during routine and abnormal operations.
• Ensure proper shift handover practices, maintaining continuity of plant awareness.
• Support daily interface between Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Subsurface, and Maintenance teams.
• Contribute to KPI tracking, reporting, and production performance monitoring.
• Support emergency response duties as assigned and maintain full readiness for abnormal situations.
• Engage in continuous improvement, identifying unsafe conditions and ensuring corrective actions per procedures.
• Maintain valid certifications and medical requirements relevant to offshore and job-specific duties.

Education

• HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Chemical/Petrochemical field.
• Engineering degree.
• Solid and proven experience in production operations.

Experience

• Experience in chemical/petrochemical industry with offshore operations.
• Extensive experience in production departments.
• Experience with FPSO operations and process plant systems (preferred).
• Strong understanding of operational safety standards and PTW systems.
