Team Lead, Account Management

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Account Management team. You will build, mentor, and coach a team responsible for growing strategic merchant relationships and payments revenue. You should be comfortable streamlining team operations, encouraging collaboration, and engaging with executives at all levels. This role is crucial for the success of our growing Brazil operations, helping to shape our culture and develop future leaders at Adyen.

What You’ll Do
  • Motivate team members and encourage creativity while identifying training needs. Provide coaching in strategic account planning, contract negotiations, product discussions, and executive engagement.
  • Serve as a senior stakeholder, offering strategic and consultative advice to influence and implement our global payments strategy.
  • Support the team in unlocking commercial opportunities, driving value for Adyen and our clients.
  • Set clear goals focused on revenue growth. Report on performance and metrics at an executive level.
  • Create an inspiring, collaborative environment with open communication and feedback.
  • Recruit new team members aligning with Adyen's culture and skill requirements.
Who You Are
  • An energetic self-starter with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial experience, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excited to lead and manage cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • An excellent communicator and team player with management skills and technical aptitude.
  • 5+ years managing teams and building executive-level enterprise relationships.
  • 7+ years in account management, business development, consulting, or related fields.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
