Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned procurement and logistics supervisor to direct purchasing, warehousing, and transportation strategies in a manufacturing setting in the North Region of Brazil. You will guide operations staff to maintain on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Purchasing, or related fields, at least three years in purchasing or logistics, with two years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing or logistics experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• High level of independence, reliability, and analytical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the company’s purchasing, warehousing, and transportation strategies.

• Oversee MRP execution, stock replenishment, order management, supplier contracts, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
• Supervise 3PL warehouse operations and manage external logistics vendors.
• Handle customer audits and resolve procurement and logistics complaints.
• Oversee maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of logistics equipment and facilities.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness, quality, and productivity.

• Guide operational staff and officers in daily procurement and warehouse workflows to maintain strict on-time delivery schedules and high customer satisfaction.

• Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) execution, stock replenishment, order management, supplier contracts, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).

• Supervise third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations and manage external logistics vendors.

• Handle customer audits and resolve any complaints related to procurement and logistics functions.

• Oversee the maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of logistics equipment and facilities.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness, quality, and overall operational productivity.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Purchasing, Materials Management, International Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing or logistics experience within a manufacturing setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
