Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks a Senior Engineering Lead to guide multiple squads of developers and QA analysts. You will partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure deliveries align with business priorities, coordinating capacity and removing impediments.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions with the CTO, and promote best practices, testing, and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
• Proven experience leading software development teams.
• Technical background in development using Java.
• Ability to move between people management and technical discussions, supporting architecture and engineering decisions.
• Experience with legacy systems and continuous application evolution.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Knowledge of agile metrics and flow management.
• Experience with software engineering best practices, quality and secure development.
• Excellent communication, collaborative mindset and ability to facilitate negotiations between technical and business areas.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary teams composed of Developers and Quality Analysts.
• Work in partnership with Product Owners, Business Analysts and other departments to ensure deliveries are aligned with business priorities.
• Coordinate multiple squads, monitoring capacity, priorities, delivery quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support to the team in defining solutions, architecture and engineering best practices.
• Participate in technical decisions together with the CTO, contributing to the technological evolution of the products.
• Plan releases, track metrics and remove impediments that impact deliveries.
• Lead activities related to maintenance and evolution of legacy systems, ensuring stability and quality.
• Promote development practices, testing, code review and continuous improvement.
• Provide feedback, conduct one-on-one (1:1) meetings and support the team's technical and behavioral development.
• Build a collaborative, safe and learning-oriented environment.
