• Lead and develop coordinators and Tech Leads, strengthening a culture of leadership, collaboration, and high performance.
• Act as a leader of leaders, supporting people management, decision-making, and team growth.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, development, performance, succession, and retention.
• Define, together with technical leadership, the engineering strategy, ensuring quality, scalability, security, and efficiency of solutions.
• Drive technological evolution by promoting best practices in architecture, automation, observability, incident management, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor engineering metrics and ensure prioritization of technical risks and modernization initiatives.
• Manage budget, capacity, investments, vendors, and strategic projects for the area.
• Partner with Product, Business, Data, Architecture, and other areas, influencing strategic decisions and connecting technology to business outcomes.
• Communicate results, risks, and directions to different audiences, including executive leadership.

Requirements

• Experience in Software Engineering, with prior roles as Tech Lead, Architect, Engineering Manager, or equivalent technical position.
• Proven experience leading technology teams, including leading other leaders.
• Experience developing leaders, capacity management, planning, and prioritizing complex initiatives.
• Knowledge of software architecture, quality, DevOps, observability, and production system operations.
• Ability to connect technical decisions to business objectives, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex topics clearly.
