The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Shipping Assistant / Coordinator (2 headcounts) to join our logistics team in Singapore, based at Jurong and Admiralty. This is a full-time, permanent role with Monday to Friday hours (8am–5:30pm at Jurong, 8:30am–6pm at Admiralty).

You will manage shipment documents, coordinate with warehouses, liaise with freight forwarders, and handle order changes, tracking shipments and advising freight costs to the sales department while seeking cost-saving

Qualificações

• Minimum relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Experience preparing import/export shipping documents is an advantage.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and HS codes is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Manage shipment documents (e.g., invoice, packing list, bill of lading) to facilitate seamless customs clearance
• To co-ordinate with warehouse team for export/import shipment preparation (i.e. cargo pick up, shipping marks)
• Liaise with freight forwarder on cargo space and shipment arrangement
• Resolving any issue or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process
• Handle order modifications, cancellations, and requests for returns or exchanges
• Monitor and follow up on shipment status
• Advise and provide freight cost to sales department
• Monitor shipping costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Relevant working experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export or related field
• Experience in preparing import/export shipping documents will be an advantage
• Knowledge of customs procedures, permit declaration, Incoterms, HS codes or letter of credit will be an advantage
• Tradenet / Tradeweb certificate or Customs Competency Test certificate will be an advantage
