EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior SAP CAP Developer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications, shaping architecture and ensuring quality across complex SAP-based solutions.

You will work in an Agile, DevOps-enabled environment, build microservices, integrate AI capabilities into the SDLC, and collaborate with global teams while maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven ability to deliver features on time per specs and milestones.
• Strong backend skills: Java, REST/CXF, Spring Boot, CAP, and SQL.
• Experience in design reviews, test planning, and code reviews.
• Ability to implement automated unit tests to achieve full code coverage.
• Experience implementing test plans through automated functional tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using modern frameworks and tools to meet enterprise business needs
• Build microservices and event-driven solutions tailored for high-load, enterprise-grade environments, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Leverage in-memory database technologies to deliver blazing-fast application performance
• Collaborate on innovative projects integrating AI capabilities into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance efficiency and quality
• Work within an Agile environment, embracing DevOps practices to streamline delivery and improve team collaboration

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development
• Proven ability to deliver application features on time that fully adhere to functional specifications, SAP product standards, quality criteria, and project milestones
• Strong backend development skills in Java, REST/CXF, MVC frameworks such as Springboot, the CAP programming model, and SQL
• Experience contributing to requirements review, design authoring and review, test scenario review, and code review processes
• Ability to implement automated unit tests to achieve full code coverage
• Experience implementing test plans through fully automated functional tests, covering both positive and negative test scenarios
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve internal defects and customer issues within defined SLA timelines
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Junit, Karate, Postman, Qmate, qTest, and Selenium for development, testing, and project tracking
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Experience with a major cloud hyperscaler such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a strong plus
• Familiarity with microservice architectures and event-driven design is highly valued
• Exposure to other SAP products is considered a bonus
• Comfort with Agile methodologies and practical DevOps skills, including CI/CD and automation, is a plus
• Interest in AI-driven SDLC processes is a great differentiator
