EPAM Systems in Brazil is seeking a Chief ABAP/EWM Engineer to lead SAP ABAP delivery across SAP EWM with deep logistics process expertise. You will guide complex enhancements and integrations while partnering with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams to ensure reliable, high-volume warehouse execution.

The role requires 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience, mastery of EWM modules, and hands-on work with BADIs, IDocs, and interfaces.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• In-depth SAP EWM knowledge including RF Framework and warehouse task processing.
• Advanced ABAP capability (OO principles, Performance Tuning, SQL optimization).
• Practical experience with enhancement frameworks (BADIs, Enhancement Spots, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements).
• Proven integration experience with IDocs, ALE, APIs, OData, and Web Services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP developments and change requests (CRs) within SAP EWM and core logistics modules
• Implement complex technical solutions using ABAP Objects, BADIs, user exits, enhancement spots, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and SAP Fiori/UI5 (where applicable)
• Translate logistics and warehouse management requirements into clear technical specifications and efficient ABAP code
• Perform root-cause analysis, debug existing EWM programs, and tune performance for high-volume logistics transactions
• Coordinate with functional consultants and QA teams to run unit/integration testing and maintain thorough technical documentation
• Partner with SAP functional consultants, system architects, and business analysts within an Agile/Scrum setup

We are seeking a Chief ABAP/EWM Engineer to lead high-impact SAP ABAP delivery across SAP EWM with deep logistics process expertise. You will guide complex enhancements and integrations while partnering with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams to ensure reliable, high-volume warehouse execution.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP developments and change requests (CRs) within SAP EWM and core logistics modules
• Implement complex technical solutions using ABAP Objects, BADIs, user exits, enhancement spots, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and SAP Fiori/UI5 (where applicable)
• Translate logistics and warehouse management requirements into clear technical specifications and efficient ABAP code
• Perform root-cause analysis, debug existing EWM programs, and tune performance for high-volume logistics transactions

Requirements

• Proven track record of 8+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development
• Hands-on domain expertise and solid process understanding in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), including RF Framework, warehouse task creation, inbound/outbound delivery processing, and storage control
• Advanced SAP ABAP capability (ABAP Objects, OO principles, Performance Tuning, SQL optimization)
• Practical experience with enhancement frameworks (BADIs, Enhancement Spots, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements)
• Demonstrated integration experience with IDocs, ALE, APIs, OData, and Web Services
