EPAM Systems in Brazil seeks an experienced SAP Basis System Architect to lead architecture, transformation, and operations across SAP landscapes. You will design scalable, secure, cloud-ready SAP platform architectures for S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ALM, and hybrid clouds, while driving automation and governance.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of SAP Basis Administration and SAP S/4HANA Architecture.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA Database.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Focused Run and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Proficiency in SAP Identity Management, IAS/IP S, and SSO concepts.
• Understanding of SAP security architecture and cryptography fundamentals.

Responsabilidades

• Define SAP platform architecture standards and governance.
• Design SAP S/4HANA landscapes for On-Premise, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud environments.
• Lead RISE with SAP and cloud transformation programs.
• Define high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
• Set SAP system sizing and performance strategies.
• Architect transport management and landscape strategies.
• Collaborate with security teams on SAP security architecture.
• Lead SAP Basis modernization initiatives.
• Drive Clean Core compliance from a technical architecture perspective.
• Establish monitoring and observability standards using SAP Cloud ALM.
• Design automation strategies for provisioning and operations.
• Support hyperscaler deployments on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations, and conversions.

We are seeking a SAP Basis System Architect to lead architecture, transformation, and operational excellence initiatives across SAP landscapes. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and cloud-ready SAP platform architectures supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, and hybrid cloud environments. This position requires strong expertise in SAP infrastructure strategy, migration planning, automation, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and SAP operations transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Definition of SAP platform architecture standards and governance
• Design of SAP S/4HANA landscapes for On-Premise, Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments
• Leadership of RISE with SAP and cloud transformation programs
• Design of high availability and disaster recovery architectures
• Definition of SAP system sizing and performance strategies
• Architecture of transport management and landscape strategies
• Definition of SAP security architecture in collaboration with security teams
• Leadership of SAP Basis modernization initiatives
• Driving Clean Core compliance from a technical architecture perspective

Requirements

• Knowledge of SAP Basis Administration, SAP S/4HANA Architecture and SAP NetWeaver
• Expertise in SAP HANA Database, SAP Landscape Management and SAP Cloud ALM
• Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager and SAP Focused Run
• Skills in RISE with SAP and SAP Private Cloud Edition
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS and GCP
• Competency in Kubernetes and Docker
• Background in SAP Identity Management, IAS / IPS and Single Sign-On
• Understanding of SNC, TLS / Certificates and SAP Authorization Concepts
• Capability to design High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Performance Engineering solutions
• Qualifications in Technical Governance, DevOps and Automation
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Skills in SAP BTP Administration
• Background in Enterprise Architecture
• Familiarity with LeanIX and Signavio
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and Terraform
