Jobtailor in Brazil seeks a Reliability Engineer to improve railway asset performance through RAM analyses and reliability modeling. You will conduct degradation studies, life-cycle assessments, and risk analyses to optimize maintenance strategies and asset renewal plans.

The role requires expertise in ReliaSoft tools, Python, BI applications, and ISO 55000-aligned practices. Collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams is essential for risk mitigation and data-driven

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in Reliability Engineering applying RCM, FMEA/FMECA, RCA, Weibull analysis, and RAM analysis.
  • Practical experience conducting quantitative reliability studies, degradation analyses, and asset life analyses.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management, Risk Management, and Asset Criticality, preferably with ISO 55000.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and Data Science applied to maintenance; solid probability/statistics.
  • Knowledge of BI tools and EAM/CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of Python for data processing and analysis.
  • Graduate degree or postgraduate specialization in Reliability Engineering, Asset Management, or Maintenance Engineering.
  • CAMA Certification and/or RCM Certification.
  • Experience with ReliaSoft RCM++, Weibull++, BlockSim, and RGA; ability to use these tools independently.
  • Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and Oracle databases.

Responsabilidades

  • Ensure continuous improvement of railway asset performance through Reliability Engineering methodologies, failure analysis, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop RAM studies using statistical techniques, operational history, and asset life-cycle modeling.
  • Identify and mitigate risks with criticality analyses, risk assessments, FMEA/FMECA, and defining risk treatment actions.
  • Contribute to maintenance strategies using RCM, FMEA/FMECA, RCA, and recurring failure analyses.
  • Support asset renewal, modernization, and replacement plans considering asset condition, remaining useful life, performance, and risk exposure.
  • Develop and provide indicators to support decision-making through asset, maintenance, and operations data analysis.
  • Advance Asset Management by implementing ISO 55000-aligned methodologies, standards, and practices.
  • Govern reliability engineering and asset management processes by monitoring audits, action plans, and results.
  • Contribute to technical development of Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams by sharing Reliability Engineering methodologies and knowledge.
  • Conduct asset degradation analyses and life studies.
  • Use ReliaSoft RCM++, Weibull++, BlockSim, and RGA for reliability modeling and studies.
  • Update indicators, portals, and dashboards; develop new Power BI apps using Python and statistics for data processing and analysis.
  • Provide technical support for asset specifications during procurement processes.

  • Contribute to the definition and optimization of maintenance strategies using RCM, FMEA/FMECA, RCA, and recurring failure analyses.
  • Support asset renewal, modernization, and replacement plans, considering asset condition, remaining useful life, operational performance, and risk exposure.
  • Develop and provide technical and management indicators to support decision-making through the analysis and consolidation of asset, maintenance, and operations data.
  • Contribute to the advancement of Asset Management by implementing methodologies, standards, and practices aligned with the principles of ISO 55000.
  • Support the governance of Reliability Engineering and asset management processes by monitoring technical audits, action plans, and results.
  • Contribute to the technical development of Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams by sharing Reliability Engineering methodologies and knowledge.
