Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks a qualified accountant to manage PP&E and intangible asset accounting in SAP FI-AA, monitor CAPEX projects, and perform monthly depreciation and amortization. The role requires close collaboration with finance teams to ensure accurate asset accounting and IFRS 16 compliance.

You will prepare reconciliations, assist in notes to financial statements, support audits, and help consolidate processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Experience with SAP FI-AA and close familiarity with CAPEX, depreciation and amortization.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 / CPC 06 (R2) and CPC 27/CPC 04 positively noted.

Responsabilidades

• Manage PP&E and intangible assets accounting in SAP FI-AA.
• Close monthly books, record CAPEX and perform depreciation/amortization.

• Manage and process transactions for property, plant and equipment (PP&E) and intangible assets in SAP FI-AA
• Monitor and record capital investment projects (CAPEX)
• Perform the monthly depreciation and amortization run
• Manage the accounting treatment of lease contracts in accordance with IFRS 16 / CPC 06 (R2)
• Prepare and monitor monthly account reconciliations for PP&E, intangible assets, leases, and PPA
• Prepare management reports and asset analyses, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement
• Support the preparation of notes to the financial statements and financial statements
• Support internal and external audits by providing information and assisting with responses to inquiries
• Participate in corporate transactions, business combinations, and accounting consolidation processes
• Support the monthly accounting close, ensuring deadlines, quality, and consistency of information
• Partner with business functions and other Accounting teams to ensure proper asset management and accurate accounting impacts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Experience with SAP FI-AA
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 / CPC 06 (R2)
• Knowledge of CPC 27 – Property, Plant and Equipment and CPC 04 – Intangible Assets
• Experience with accounting close, reconciliations, CAPEX, depreciation, and amortization
• Knowledge of financial statements and notes to the financial statements
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP FI, SAP RE, and RentSystem is a plus
• Experience working for publicly traded companies is a plus
• Knowledge of accounting consolidation is a plus
• Experience with process improvement projects and automation of accounting routines is a plus
