Jobtailor in Florianópolis is seeking a delivery-focused project engineer to oversee telecom deployment projects end-to-end. You will coordinate engineering, provisioning, configuration and last mile teams, manage vendor performance, and ensure connectivity requirements are met.

You’ll lead daily stand-ups, document progress, and hand over projects to NOC and support teams for billing and maintenance. Applicants should have a degree in Telecommunications/CS and experience with telecom operators

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications or related fields.
• Experience with Telecom Operators or ISPs.
• Strong knowledge of connectivity solutions (GPON, MPLS, DWDM, Dedicated IP).
• Vendor certifications desirable (e.g., Cisco/ Huawei/ MikroTik).
• Familiarity with ITIL, Scrum or PMP desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in-depth analysis of the sold solution to align delivery expectations.
• Anticipate bottlenecks and allocate technical resources.
• Document and record the project in control spreadsheets and systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Interface with Engineering, Provisioning, Configuration and Last Mile teams.
• Monitor hiring and performance of external vendors assisting in delivery of connectivity.
• Lead daily stand-ups and follow-up meetings to report progress to stakeholders and clients.
• Act as focal point in crisis situations, escalating documentation or technical issues as needed to avoid delays.
• Track deliveries to ensure technical validation and connectivity requirements (latency, bandwidth).
• Perform formal handover of the deployed project to the NOC and support teams for billing and maintenance.
• Promote post-project reviews to continuously improve delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform an in-depth analysis of the sold solution to align delivery expectations.
• Anticipate potential technological or infrastructure bottlenecks and allocate the necessary technical resources.
• Ensure the entire project is properly documented and recorded in control spreadsheets and systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Act as a direct interface with Engineering, Provisioning, Configuration and Last Mile teams.
• Monitor the hiring and performance of external vendors that assist in delivering connectivity.
• Lead daily stand-ups (dailies) and follow-up meetings to report progress to stakeholders and clients.
• Serve as the focal point in crisis situations, escalating documentation or technical issues when necessary to avoid delays.
• Track and ensure that deliveries have been technically validated and meet connectivity requirements (such as latency and symmetric bandwidth).
• Perform the formal handover of the deployed project to the NOC (Network Operations Center) and support teams, ensuring the client is transitioned to billing and maintenance with no outstanding issues.
• Promote post-project review routines to continuously improve delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Networks, Computer Science, Systems Analysis or related fields.
• Previous experience with Telecom Operators or ISPs (Internet Service Providers).
• Strong technical knowledge of connectivity solutions (GPON, MPLS, DWDM and Dedicated IP).
• Vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Huawei HCIA/HCIP or MikroTik MTCNA) — desirable.
• Familiarity with project/process best practices (ITIL, Scrum or PMP) — desirable.
