Jobtailor seeks an IT Operations/Production Support specialist to monitor and manage alerts on Micro Focus and Core Banking platforms. You will troubleshoot incidents end-to-end, analyze logs and traces, and provide production and non-production support while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents and procedures, managing changes, and driving improvements for high-availability environments.

Qualificações

• Experience with Micro Focus / Core Banking platforms.
• Mainframe modernization experience (Gravity).
• Reading and maintenance of COBOL code.
• Proficiency with JCL.
• Strong Linux knowledge for troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Experience with messaging platforms (MQ) or other integration tech.
• Scheduling tools (Control-M or similar).
• Observability tools: Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus.
• ITSM experience: ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
• Desirable: Sonar tooling.
• Background in IT operations, infrastructure support or platform administration.
• Experience in high-availability production environments.
• Experience managing incidents and alerts in production.

• Document incidents, solutions and procedures (runbooks/knowledge base).
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and stabilization.

• Middleware and Integration: Messaging platforms (MQ or other integration technologies);
• Process Control: Scheduling tools (Control-M or similar);

• IT Service Management: ServiceNow; ITIL – incident, problem and change management;
• Desirable: Tools such as Sonar;
