You will oversee FCL/LCL import/export activities, pricing, documentation, and customer management, while guiding an operations team. The role requires hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of sea freight procedures, and the ability to coordinate with shipping lines and agents to ensure smooth, compliant shipments.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of sea/ocean freight experience.
• Hands-on FCL/LCL import/export operations experience.
• Experience leading sea freight/operations teams.
• Knowledge of Singapore Customs and TradeNet procedures.
• Strong English communication and customer management skills.

Centrum Solutions Pte. Ltd. is looking for an experiencedSea Freight Logistics Managerto lead and strengthen our ocean freight operations in Singapore.

We are seeking a hands-on freight forwarding professional with strong experience inFCL/LCL import and export operations, shipping line coordination, pricing, documentation, customer management, and operational team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage completesea freight import and export operations, including FCL and LCL shipments.
• Oversee daily shipment activities from booking and documentation through final delivery.
• Coordinate closely with shipping lines, NVOCCs, overseas agents, hauliers, warehouses, customers, and other logistics partners.
• Negotiate competitive ocean freight rates and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and service providers.
• Manage vessel schedules, space allocation, bookings, and shipment planning.
• Prepare and review freight quotations, pricing, costing, and operational margins.
• Ensure accurate preparation and processing ofMBL, HBL, shipping instructions, manifests, invoices, and other shipping documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs, TradeNet requirements, and applicable international shipping regulations.
• Handle transshipment, cross-trade, import, export, and special cargo movements.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, documentation issues, claims, and customer escalations.
• Control operational costs and improve shipment profitability.
• Work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams on quotations, tenders, and customer requirements.
• Develop and improve operational SOPs, workflows, and internal controls.
• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular management reports.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the sea freight operations team.
• Maintain high customer service standards and support long-term client relationships.
• Support the growth and development of Centrum Solutions' international sea freight business.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Sea Freight / Ocean Freight / Freight Forwarding.
• Strong practical experience inFCL and LCL import and export operations.
• Previous experience as aSea Freight Manager, Ocean Freight Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Leader, or similar position is preferred.
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and shipping procedures.
• Good knowledge ofSingapore Customs and TradeNet procedures.
• Strong experience dealing directly with shipping lines, NVOCCs, overseas agents, and logistics service providers.
• Good knowledge of ocean freight pricing, procurement, and cost control.
• Experience handling cross-trade, transshipment, urgent, or complex shipments will be an advantage.
• Strong operational problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Good command ofEnglish.
