Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Air Freight / Freight Forwarding.
• Strong practical experience in air import and export operations.
• Experience as an Air Freight Manager or similar leadership role is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of international freight-forwarding procedures.
• Knowledge of IATA requirements, Singapore Customs and TradeNet procedures.
• Experience dealing directly with airlines and overseas agents.

• Prepare quotations, pricing and operational cost calculations.
• Ensure accurate AWB, MAWB, HAWB and shipping documentation.
• Monitor shipment performance and resolve delays and escalations.
• Recruit, train and supervise airfreight operations staff.

Centrum Solutions Pte. Ltd. is looking for an experiencedAir Freight Logistics Managerto lead and develop our air freight operations in Singapore.

We are seeking a hands-on logistics professional with strong experience ininternational air freight forwarding, airline coordination, import/export operations, customer management, pricing, compliance, and operational team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the completeair freight import and export operations.
• Lead daily airfreight activities from booking through final delivery.
• Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, customers, hauliers, warehouses and other service providers.
• Negotiate competitive rates and maintain strong relationships with airlines and logistics partners.
• Manage airline space allocation, capacity and shipment planning.
• Prepare and supervise quotations, pricing and operational cost calculations.
• Ensure accurate preparation of AWB, MAWB, HAWB and other shipping documentation.
• Ensure compliance withSingapore Customs, TradeNet, IATA and applicable air cargo regulations.
• Manage special cargo, time-critical shipments, dangerous goods and other complex airfreight movements where applicable.
• Monitor shipment performance and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies and customer escalations.
• Manage operational costs and improve shipment profitability.
• Work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams on new customer requirements and quotations.
• Establish and improve SOPs, operational procedures and internal controls.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare operational and management reports.
• Recruit, train and supervise airfreight operations staff.
• Maintain high service standards and strong customer relationships.
• Support the continued development and expansion of Centrum Solutions' international freight-forwarding business.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Air Freight / Freight Forwarding.
• Strong practical experience inair import and export operations.
• Previous experience as anAir Freight Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Leader or similar positionis highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of international freight-forwarding procedures.
• Good knowledge ofIATA requirements, Singapore Customs and TradeNet procedures.
• Experience dealing directly with airlines and overseas agents.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight pricing, procurement and cost management.
• Experience handling urgent, special or complex international shipments.
• Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Good command ofEnglish.

Preferred Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working for establishedinternational freight forwarders, 3PL companies, airline cargo organizations or global logistics providers.

The successful candidate should be commercially aware, operationally strong and capable of building a reliable and scalable airfreight operation.
