About the role
We are looking for a responsible and organised Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Team in managing sales enquiries, quotations, material orders, project coordination and customer requirements. This role involves both office and site coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales Personnel, customers, suppliers, site teams and internal departments to ensure projects and orders are carried out smoothly and according to requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Sales Team in handling customer enquiries, quotations, orders and project requirements.
- Carry out quantity take-offs, calculate material quantities and prepare quotations, cut lists and other sales-related documents.
- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to obtain material prices, product information and quotations, and coordinate material orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and project teams to ensure materials, drawings, instructions and project requirements are properly communicated and followed up.
- Coordinate material selection, slab marking, preparation and dry-lay sessions where required.
- Liaise with site personnel, contractors and site supervisors to coordinate material deliveries, installation requirements and other project matters.
- Attend site meetings with Sales Personnel when required and assist in resolving delivery, material, coordination and project-related issues.
- Monitor project and order status, follow up on outstanding matters, defects, replacement materials and other requirements to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and maintain proper records of quotations, orders, delivery information, cut lists and other project-related documents.
- Assist the Sales Team with customer follow-ups, general sales administration and other duties related to the smooth execution of projects.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Construction, Interior Design, Architecture, Building or related fields will be an advantage.
- Relevant working experience in stone, marble, granite, tiles, construction, renovation or finishing works encouraged.
- Basic knowledge of quantity take-off and material measurement preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and coordination skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint knowledge will be an advantage.
- Positive attitude, responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work within project deadlines.
