RecruitFirst is hiring a Supermarket Assistant for North Singapore. This permanent role involves 6-day work weeks, 8 hours daily with a 1-hour break, and duties across checkout, packing, and customer service.

You will operate POS systems, assist with replenishment and merchandising, and help maintain a clean store environment while delivering friendly service to customers.

Qualificações

• Experience in customer service/retail is advantageous.
• Able to read and understand product labels.
• Physically able to lift up to 15 kg and climb ladders when required.

Job Title: Retail Assistant
Location (Nearest MRT): North (Toa Payoh MRT)
Salary: Up to $2,600/month (depending on qualifications and relevant experience)
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Days: 6 days per week
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, inclusive of 1-hour break

Key Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems and process cash, card and digital payments accurately.
• Assist with packing of customers' purchases and ensure smooth checkout operations.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service by handling customer enquiries.
• Perform shelf replenishment, merchandise stocking and product display.
• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and proper organization of the store.
• Support daily store operations and other duties as assigned.
