Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Planner in the North region to coordinate daily production schedules and allocate manpower to meet customer deadlines. You will liaise with multiple departments and overseas teams to ensure production plans align with requirements.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain and at least 2 years in production planning or related fields. SAP or SAGE experience is preferred, with OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2 years of experience in production planning, manpower coordination or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in production scheduling, workforce allocation and resource planning.
• Familiarity with SAP or SAGE systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines.
• Allocate manpower according to production requirements and monitor productivity.
• Coordinate with supervisors and operators to ensure sufficent manpower and smooth workflows.
• Monitor progress, identify shortages and conflicts, implement solutions to minimize delays.
• Liaise with Customer Service, Warehouse and overseas counterparts to align production plans with requirements.
• Monitor output and optimize manpower and resources to improve efficiency.
• Manage production schedules, monitor order status and support planning.
• Ensure activities comply with ISO 9001 standards and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with MRP team to resolve system issues and support improvements.
• Perform other production planning and administrative duties as assigned.

Job Scope:

• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines.
• Allocate manpower according to production requirements and monitor workforce productivity.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to ensure sufficient manpower and smooth production workflows.
• Monitor production progress, identify manpower shortages and scheduling conflicts, and implement solutions to minimize delays.
• Liaise with Customer Service, Warehouse, and overseas counterparts to align production plans with customer requirements.
• Monitor production output and optimize manpower and resource utilization to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage production schedules, monitor order status, and support production planning.
• Ensure production activities comply with company procedures, ISO 9001 standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with the MRP team to resolve system issues and support process improvements.
• Perform other production planning and administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Relevant 2 years of experience in production planning, manpower coordination, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in production scheduling, workforce allocation, and resource planning.
• Familiarity with SAP or SAGE systems is preferred.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and inventory or order management.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight production deadlines.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality documentation is an advantage.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
