Job Opportunity: Product and Applications Specialist - Ophthalmology

Leica Microsystems, a leader in microscopy, imaging, and analysis for over 170 years, is seeking a Product and Applications Specialist - Ophthalmology to join our team in São Paulo/Capital, with a remote work setup.

Responsibilities

1. Provide and coordinate demonstrations across Latin America, including installation and uninstallation of ophthalmology surgical microscopes for demos.
2. Train medical and technical teams on our surgical microscopes within the Ophthalmology Division.
3. Conduct product and application training for Leica associates and channel partners in Latin America.
4. Work effectively in surgical environments, influencing doctors and key opinion leaders.
5. Develop value-based selling skills and enhance product application knowledge for colleagues and customers.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; a Technical Degree in electronics or similar is a plus.
• Experience in surgical settings, preferably with ophthalmology microscopes, including installation, troubleshooting, and assisting during surgeries.
• Language skills: Advanced Spanish and English; Fluent Portuguese.
• Willingness to travel over 75% of the time, possessing a valid driver’s license and passport, with the ability to travel internationally.
