Job summary

Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an engineer with a Diploma/Degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in plastic injection moulding to drive productivity and process improvements. The role involves optimizing process parameters, maintaining documentation, and supporting tooling and moulding trials.

Experience in medical or automotive manufacturing is preferred. The candidate will manage mould tooling, maintenance records and collaborate with production to meet quality and

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Polymer or Plastics Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plastic injection moulding.
• Experience in medical or automotive manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive plant productivity and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct process capability studies and optimize machine/process settings.
• Prepare and maintain process instructions and engineering documentation.
• Troubleshoot process, tooling and moulding issues during production.
• Conduct trials for new/modified moulds and establish optimal process parameters.
• Manage mould tooling, preventive maintenance and service records.
• Monitor mould movement and coordinate with Production on tooling requirements.
• Support new product tooling and recommend solutions to mould-related issues.
• Initiate engineering changes and support quality and process improvement objectives.

Salary Package: Basic Up to $6000

Working Location: 3 stops away from Woodlands bus interchange

Working Hours: Mon to Fri (8.15am-5.45pm)
