Job Description
The Oncology Marketing Operations Director will lead the oncology marketing team in formulating and executing marketing strategies for current indications and future product launches within the oncology portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring these strategies are fully integrated into the overall brand strategy. The Director will oversee the development of marketing tools to facilitate strategic decisions aimed at market leadership and will manage a team of Brand Managers.
This position reports directly to the Oncology Business Unit Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercialization Planning: Collaborate with Brand Managers to develop comprehensive commercialization plans for each indication, including crafting the scientific narrative.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment across franchises by understanding the Pan Tumor approach and incorporating omnichannel strategies.
- Customer-Centric Strategy Development: Use a customer-focused approach to create strategies and solutions that add market value, engaging stakeholders throughout.
- Financial Management: Oversee forecasting, resource allocation, expenses, performance monitoring, and P&L management to meet financial goals.
- Presentation Preparation: Prepare clear and concise presentations.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market data to anticipate trends and inform decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with local and regional partners across functions such as market access, policy, medical affairs, regulatory, manufacturing, legal, and sales.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and scientific leaders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the oncology marketing team for effective execution and professional growth.
Specific Responsibilities Include

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has extensive marketing and leadership experience, with a strong background in pharmaceutical sales, especially in oncology. Knowledge of access scenarios in private and public markets, and commercial strategies for hospitals and clinics, is essential. The candidate should demonstrate excellent influencing skills, strategic and commercial acumen, and a results-driven, energetic personality focused on opportunity identification and problem-solving.
