Jobtailor is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong project management experience to oversee mid- and high-end vertical construction projects in Brazil. You will manage contracts, schedules, budgets, and performance, while coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with designs and legal requirements.

The role requires proactive problem solving, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple demands in a field and office environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience in mid- and high-end vertical construction projects with project management visibility beyond inspection.
• Strong experience in contract management, planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and progress tracking.
• Ability to identify problems, deviations, and risks, propose solutions, and follow up on implementation.
• Experience in field and office environments with good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple demands.
• Proactive, hands-on, results-oriented profile with strong communication skills.
• Comprehensive view of schedule, cost, quality, and risk with reporting capabilities.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency and AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and inspect construction projects ensuring compliance with designs and standards.
• Manage construction contracts, monitor scope, schedules, quality, costs and amendments.
• Monitor progress, budgets, deviations, risks and ensure resolution.
• Review designs and technical documents, identify inconsistencies and follow up on resolutions.
• Prepare controls, reports, and performance indicators consolidating information for decision-making.
• Participate in inspections, handover, acceptance and post-construction activities.
• Act as liaison with internal teams, contractors, designers, and suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

• Oversee and inspect construction projects and engineering services, ensuring compliance with designs, specifications, contracts, technical standards, and legal requirements
• Manage construction and engineering services contracts, monitoring scope, schedules, quality, costs, progress measurements, scope changes, and amendments
• Monitor schedules, physical and financial progress, budgets, and execution, identifying deviations, risks, and nonconformities and following up on their resolution
• Review designs and technical documents, identifying inconsistencies, clashes, and required adjustments, and follow up on their resolution
• Prepare and maintain controls, reports, and performance indicators, consolidating technical, physical, financial, and contractual information to support management and decision-making
• Participate in inspections, handover, acceptance, resolution of outstanding items, warranty, and post-construction activities
• Act as a liaison with internal teams, contractors, designers, and suppliers
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience with mid- and high-end vertical construction projects, with an enterprise-wide view of project management beyond construction inspection
• Strong experience in contract management, planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and physical and financial progress tracking
• Ability to identify and anticipate problems, deviations, and risks, propose solutions, and follow up on their implementation
• Experience working both in the field and in an office environment, with strong organizational skills, discipline, and the ability to manage multiple demands
• Proactive, hands‑on, objective, results‑oriented, and ownership-minded profile
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
• Comprehensive view of schedule, cost, quality, and risk, combined with analytical skills, management reporting capabilities, and a focus on continuous improvement
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
• Intermediate AutoCAD proficiency
• MS Project or equivalent planning tools preferred
