Job summary

7+ ACADEMY PTE. LTD. is seeking passionate Maths and Science teachers to deliver engaging lessons in our learning centre. You will build relationships with students to inspire progress and loyalty, based on our curriculum and pedagogy.

The role includes developing materials, assessing students, and assisting in curriculum development. Online teaching via Zoom is expected alongside onsite duties, with a focus on high-quality education.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching Maths or Science at primary or secondary levels.
• Familiar with Singapore MOE or International Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably major in related disciplines).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• At least two years of experience in teaching related subjects.
• Experience in teaching in a multilingual environment and academic assessment.
• Able to conduct online lessons using Zoom and familiar with software applications and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

We are looking for highly passionate and responsible teachers to join our learning centre as the Maths and Science teachers. The successful candidate shall be tasked to deliver lessons in an engaging and dynamic manner, based on our curriculum and pedagogy, as well as establish relationships with our students to inspire loyalty and learning progress.

Responsibilities:

• Execute lesson plans for Primary or Secondary level Maths or Science programmes.
• Develop lesson materials and provide feedback to help students achieve visible improvement in academic results.
• Engage students and help them realise their potential.
• Assist in curriculum development and review of academic curriculums.
• The setting of examination/assessment papers and assignments (question papers, resit papers and answer keys).
• Invigilate, mark and record exams/assessments results.
• Will be assigned moderation duties for other modules.

Requirements:

• Experience in teaching Maths or Science at primary or secondary levels.
• Familiar with Singapore MOE or International Baccalaureate curriculum.
